Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) is a public and autonomous university. Established in 1997, it is situated in the center of Ho Chi Minh City - the commercial hub of Vietnam. The university has six campuses in Ho Chi Minh City (two campuses), Nha Trang City, Lam Dong Province, An Giang Province, and Ca Mau Province. The main campus is located in an area of 265,000 m² in Tan Phong Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. 

TDTU is a young and dynamic provider in the higher education sector and is one of the largest universities in Vietnam. The university is committed to Vietnam’s sustainable development of human resources. It strives to be a leading research-oriented university regionally and internationally.

The university has been fostering a unique culture that distinguishes itself from the others. Aiming to provide optimal opportunities for quality education, the university is devoted to the promotion of students’ learning and research activities. After 25 years of development, TDTU has become one of the fastest-growing universities in the country. Currently, the university has 16 faculties. The university offers over 70 programs at the vocational, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels. Approximately 26,000 students are pursuing their studies at the university. According to THE ranking, TDTU is in the Top 500 world university rankings for 2 consecutive years (2022, 2023) and is in the Top 700 academic ranking of world universities (ARWU) in 2022.

VISA

For entry into Vietnam, a VISA may be required for ASMAS 2023 attendees from some countries. Please make sure whether you need to apply for a VISA or not on the website of the Immigration Department Government of The Socialist Republic of Vietnam at: https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/trang-chu-ttdt

Visa for participants

• To enter Vietnam, each foreigner may need a Vietnamese visa. Citizens (passport holders) of the ASEAN countries, Russia, P.R. China, South Korea, Japan, Italy, Germany, Spain, United Kingdom, France and Belarus may not need a visa for a short visit (15 days). If citizens of these countries want to stay in Vietnam for more than 15 days, they need to apply for Vietnamese visas.
• If you need more information about Vietnamese visas, please inquire at Vietnamese Missions Abroad in your country.
• It is possible to get a "visa on arrival", that is a visa to be picked up at the airport upon arrival at one of Vietnam' international airports (Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh, Cam Ranh Airport in Nha Trang City, Da Nang Airport in Da Nang City or Noi Bai Airport in Ha Noi).
• Please notice that a Vietnamese visa is required in case you enter Vietnam from the third country. Even you live with a long-term visa in the country above.
• Some people have been successful with using online services such as "My Vietnam Visa", to obtain a Vietnamese tourist visa.

Access Ton Duc Thang University from Tan Son Nhat airport:

By bus:

First, take the bus No. 109 air-con airport (Tan Son Nhat Airport - The 23/09 Park). Direction: Bound for The 23/09 Park and get off at Transit Hub Center at Ham Nghi Street (Fare: approximately 0.7$; working hour:05:45-23:40; running frequency: 4-5/hour)

Then take the bus No. 31 (Van Lang University - Ton Duc Thang University). Direction: Bound for Ton Duc Thang University (Terminal - inside university) (Fare: approximately 0.3$; working hour:05:00-19:00; running frequency: 4/hour)
